YouTube partnered with local area icons in areas such as Byron Bay, Abbotsford, Camperdown, Newtown etc... to curate 13 playlists that captured the sound of each respective neighbourhood. To celebrate this, YouTube created a pop up garden at the Newtown Festival. This allowed guests to experience these iconic playlists.
