War On Waste

To promote the second season of War on Waste, ABC engaged Australians directly through a nationwide activation aimed at shifting behaviors around single-use plastics.

The campaign, “A Life Less Plastic,” leveraged Australians' love for fashion, art, and sustainability. Traveling with a branded vehicle, the team educated the public and provided practical solutions to reduce plastic waste, distributing 4,000 reusable shopping bags and 5,000 artist-designed refillable glass bottles.

Over three days and four high-traffic locations, the activation reached nearly 4,000 Australians, sparking conversations about sustainable living and making #WarOnWasteAU the second-highest trending hashtag on Twitter in Australia.
